Sailing, canoeing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding and for those of you that are daring enough; barefooting. These are just some of the activities you can take part in at Marine Lake, the only salt water lake in North Wales. 12 hectares in size, Marine Lake is a man-made reservoir next to the mouth of the River Clwyd. For those who don’t like to get wet, have a walk round the Lake taking in our new Environmental Trail, spot some of the wildlife, or have a ride on the Miniature Railway, the oldest in the UK and operated by Rhyl Steam Preservation Trust. Marine Lake has been awarded the Green Coast Award.
